“Why Leave Home?” the Fox musical version of “The Cradle Snatchers.” now at the Crystal Palace Theatre, is Rood entertainment. Walter Catlett, as Elmer, and Ilka Chase as his wife, irive outstanding performances. at least from the comedy standpoint Sue Carol and Nick Stuart have comparatively few opportunities. Sue’s soner number “Look What You’ve Done to Me.” is a decided hit. “Why Leave Homo '* is worth leaving home to see The cafe setting is colourful, and you are certain to laugh at Elmer. Ruth Chatterton’s latest starring alltalking Paramount picture, “The Laughing Lady,” is adapted from Alfred Sutro’s famous dramatic play of* the same name. Clive Brook plays the male lead.
