LITTLE THEATRE
SATISFACTORY YEAR REPORTED ANNUAL MEETING HELD The Auckland Little Theatre Society continues to flourish and its Revenue continues to increase. This satisfactory state of affairs was rep ealed at the annual meeting of the society which was held last evening. The president, Air. L. P. Leary, was in the chair. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, Air. Leary referred to the society’s satisfactory position. The net balance at the end of the year amounted to £523, which was represented by cash in the bank. At the beginning of the year the accumulated fund amounted to £379. During the year four productions had been given and these had given a net return of £lB5. The special benefit performance given for the earthquake fund at the expense of the society had resulted in a return of £3OO, which had been forwarded to the relief committee. Excellent work had been done during the year by the producer, and the secretary and the society had been fortunate in having the voluntary help of a large number of people. Officers for the year were elected as follow:—Patron, Sir George Fowlds vice-presidents. Professor R. AI. Algie, Canon Archdall, AU\ F. C. Alappin, Mr! A. AI. Ferguson, Air. Henry Hayward and Dr. C. Lippincott; auditor, Air. E. D. Wilkinson.
