MR. JAMES CLARKE ! Mr. James Clarke, who died yester- | day at Kemuera, at the age of 90, was born in Suffolk and came to New Zealand with his wife in the ship Miltiades, arriving in Auckland in ! 1874. For many years he was en- | gaged in his work as an orchardist and landscape gardener and was also employed in the survey branch of the Public Works Department.
