SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
MISTAKE IN COUNTING Through a mistake in accrediting marks in one subject of the Senior National Scholarship examination held by the Education Department last November, the name of Margaret Patricia Bartrum, a pupil of the Takapuna Grammar School, was not included among the passes. She had been awarded 123 marks only instead of 314, bringing her total marks for the examination up to 1,545. This error was discovered in a recount and a scholarship has now been awarded by the Department,
