PETROL FUMES EXPLODE IN N.S.W. COTTAGE WOMAN NOV/ CRITICAL SYDNEY, Wednesday. Mr. Edward O’Malley, father of the two children who were burned to death in a fire at Trundle yesterday, died today. The bodies of the children have been recovered. The mother is in a critical condition. It transpires that Mr. O'Malley went to a drum in order to obtain some petrol when the naked light he was carrying ignited the fumes. An explosion and fire followed.
