WOMAN THROWN OUT AND BADLY HURT TRAIN FRIGHTENS ANIMAL Special to THE SUN PALMERSTON N., Today. Startled by a passing train, a horse harnessed to a gig in which was seated Mrs. Ruth Stevens, of Feilding, bolted along the main road between the town and Aorangi yesterday afternoon. The gig finally capsized and Mrs. Stevens received a fractured skull. She is at present lying in the Palmerston North Hospital and her condition is reported to be serious.
