LICENCE FEE REDUCED From Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The fee for the licence for amateur radio transmitters has been reduced by Cabinet from two guineas to 30s per annum. The necessary alteration in the radio regulations will be made shortly. The reduction has been made in accordance with a promise given by the Hon. J. B. Honald when he was Post-master-General, that the cost of the licence would be reviewed.
