EVENING ATHLETICS
TECHNICAL OLD BOYS’ CLUB Unusual distances and fast times were features of the Technical Old Boys’ amateur athletic meeting at the Domain last evening. Two interesting events, the threequarter mile and the 250 yards, provided great finishes. In the longer race, Browne took the lead after two laps, with Cooper lying second, and Barken third. Barker moved up entering the straight, and, with a great challenge, beat Browne by a. yard. Cooper was fourth. Savidan, by hard running in the second lap, was close up in sixth place. The 250 yards provided another win for M. O’Shea. Results: 75 Yards Handicap.—First heat: G. F. Hare. 2yds, 1; E. M. Horan, Byds, 2; Ft. D. Mackenzie, 10yds, 3. Time, 7 2-ssec. Second heat: A.
