A BOWLER OF ONLY 19, L. N. Thompson (left) of the Rawhiti Club, has caused a mild sensation in bowling circles by coming through six rounds of the Auckland Bowling Centre’s tournament without defeat. With him is E. B. Bennett, aged 26, of Takapuna. whom he defeated, 27 —17, this morning. Both, however, are in the semi-finals, although Thompson (who had two "lives") was defeated by Clarke, a former champion, later in the morning.
