OLD MAN’S SUICIDE

BODY FOUND ON HILLSIDE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A retired railway servant. Mr. Alfred Derbridge, aged 72 years, was missed from his home at Port Levy on Sunday morning and in the afternoon a search party found his body on the hillside a mile from his home with a wound in the throat. At the inquest today the coroner returned a verdict that Derbridge committed suicide while of unsound mind.
