Mrs. Russell Ferguson, of Scotland, is a guest at Hotel. Miss M. Galpin. of Marton, is the guest of Mrs. C. C. Spedding, of Epsom. Mrs. Percy Bayley, who has been visiting New Plymouth, has returned to Auckland. * m Mrs. R. J. McKee, of Paeroa. left by the Niagara for Sydney and Melbourne yesterday. Mrs. J. Reidy and Miss V. Reidy, of Hamilton, have returned * from the Waitakeres. * * * Miss A. Moires, of England, is a visitor to Auckland and is staying at Hotel Cargen. The Misses Barker, of Gisborne, who are on a visit to Auckland, are staying at Hotel Cargen. Miss Hobday, who has been touring Europe, returned to Auckland by the Maunganui yesterday. Mrs. and Miss Low, of Devonport, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Maunganui, from Sydney. Mrs. F. Kircher, of New Plymouth, is motoring to Auckland and will be tho guest of friends in Birkenhead. * * * Mr. and Mrs. A. Braae, of Opotiki, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Price, of Thames, are staying Central Hotel. Miss E. Holben, of Auckland, who is on a six months’ holiday trip, has reached London by way of America. * * * Mrs. E. J. Leydon, who has been the guest of Mrs. T. C. Clarke, of Shelly Beach Road, Herne Bay, has returned to Palmerston North. . * * * Mrs. Norman Hungerford, of Helesville, and her infant daughter, who have been on a visit to Marton and Feilding, returned to Auckland yesterday. * * * Mrs. Clegg-Taylor, who has not been in Auckland since she attended the first contest for the Davis Cup, hold ten years ago, reached Auckland yesterday by the Maunganui for a holiday visit. Miss I. A. Copeland, art lecturer at tho Auckland Training College, left by the Niagara yesterday en route for England and the Continent. Miss Copeland, while away, will study the latest methods in art instruction in the English colleges, and will also spend considerable time in study and on sketching tours.
