SUBURBAN THEATRES
The Tivoli Theatre, Ivarangahape Road, is showing "Live, Love, and Laugh,” George Jossel’s great talking and singing picture from the Civic, and "Darkened Rooms,” a talkie based on the Philip Gibbs novel, starring Evelyn Brent and Neil Hamilton. The Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, and the Regent Theatre, Epsom, are screening “Hot News,” an amusing tale of American newspaper life, starring Bebe Daniels, jnd “Moran of the Marines,” starring Richard Dix. The Britannia Theatre, Three Lamps, is presenting the splendid talkie, “Big Time.” a tale of vaudeville folk, starring Leo Tracy, Mae Clark, and Stepin Fetchit.
George Bancroft is married to Octavis Broske, formerly a v&ell-known stage actress. They have one child, a girl, eight years old.
