CRYSTAL PALACE, MOUNT EDEN

Mae Murray has the principal rolein the chief attraction, “Peacock Alley,” an entertaining all-talking and part-colour production, now at the Crystal Palace Theatre. The story deals with the private lives of members of exclusive American society. Miss Murray playing the part of a wealthy and very popular hostess, much courted yet remaining aloof. Many gorgeous costumes, the brilliance of which is considerably heightened by the use of technicolour in some of the scenes, are worn by the principal. A feature of the production is the inclusion of excellent musical selections. There is a strong supporting cast.
