FORCED LANDING

PLANE LITTLE DAMAGED From Our Oxen Correspondent MATAMATA, Monday. Squadron-Leader L. M. Isitt, officer in charge at the Hobsonville air base, was accompanied by Captain Miles in a flight from Auckland to Rotorua when, owing to poor visibility, it was found necessary to make a forced landing in a small paddock at Matamata. The machine struck a fence j and the wings were slightly damaged.
