LAUNCH CAPSIZES

THREE FISHERMEN IN DANGER ONE TRAPPED IN CABIN Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday The capsize of a fishing: launch near the Moturoa Sugarloaf, about a mile from shore, placed three fishermen—- . Messrs. 11. L. Autridge, Stan Bridger, and Prestney—in a dangerous predicament. t It is understood that the capsize was caused by two of the men placing their weight on one side of the 16ft craft while it had no steerage way. the boat turned over, Prestney was trapped in the cabin, and it was some time before ho could free himself. A man fishing alone in an open boat came to their assistance, and another launch soon arrived, and took the men on board and towed their launch into the harbour. The experience was the more unpleasant because a number of sharks had been seen in the locality during the day.
