MISS COPPLESTONE’S PLANS From Our Oxen Correspondent HAMILTON, Monday. Kliss Lily Copplestone, of Christchurch, the well-known New Zealand swimmer, visited Hamilton today. She has just completed a Dominion tour, during which she coached no fewer than 1,000 children. Detailing her plans for the coming seasonr Kliss Copplestone stated that it was her intention to attempt to lower her previous record across Lyttelton Harbour, at Christmas. Her record on that occasion was lh 20m for the distance, three miles. She will also attempt to cross the Wellington Harbour from Day’s Bay to the city. Next season Miss Copplestone hopes to break her existing record for swimming down the Waikato ‘River.
