Four years ago Mask won the two * ll Sh-weight handicaps at the WTellington Racing Club’s summer meeting, and followed that feat up by going on to Ellerslie and winning the Great Northern St. Leger. It would not be surprising to find Don Quixote do aljnost as well, for he was a certainty beaten the first day at Trentham recently, and duly won on the Monday. -The two races he had should be of considerable benefit to him, and he may Possibly develop into as good a handicap perfQrmer as Mask. Don Quixote on Doth sides of his pedigree suggests time for development. He is by Palawhile his dam, Hornbeam, is a -Martian mare from Stephanie, by Stepmak from Fanna, by Maxim.
