The Empire farmers who are touring: 'he Dominion were welcomed at Ashburton today by the Mayor, the county ■ hairman and the president of the Farmers’ Union. After visiting Mr. H. I'. Niooll’s stud farm, they attended ihe Mayfield Show. Speakers at the luncheon at the -how included Mr. W. Xosworthy and Mr. T. D. Burnett, M.P. The visitors left in the evening for Wellington. Mayfield was the only show in the itinerary.
