BROADSIDING POSTPONED
BLANDFORD PARK MEETING The broadsiding meeting which was to have been held at Blandford Park this evening has been postponed to Wednesday next on account of rain. However, the full programme arranged will be staged, including the exhibition of speed on the cinder track with a cycle and side-car by the two motorcyclists who are touring the world, Messrs. J. Gill and P. Irving. These two have been on the track at Blandford Park and promise a thrilling exhibition. Miss Violet Matthews, the Park’s woman broadsider, will race against the men at the next meeting. She has improved considerably since her first appearance and should prove a worthy opponent. Races for the Gold Helmet will be run and contests for the G. and M. Cup and the dirt track racing machine will be continued.
