I By their win Te Kawa are the champion team for the season, Jligh School being runners-up. CRICKET ACCIDENT POPULAR SOCCER OFFICIAL Mr. Robert M. Keswick of II.M. Customs staff, Auckland, and the popu lar secretary of the Auckland Football Association minor division committee, suffered a painful accident at Fern dale, on Saturday, playing in a cricket match at the Customs Department’s annual picnic. Mr. Beswick was in bait ng when 'ho accident happened. Dashing for a. run with both batsmen keeping an eye on the ball, the runners collided heavily in mid wicket, Mr. Beswick crashing into his partner’s bat and fracturing his ribs. He was brought in to tlm Auckland Hospital where his case is not considered serious, and he is reported as progressing favourably.
