EXCUSE FOR LANGUAGE
‘T thought I was speaking to an intimate friend, your Honour,” explained George Alexander Wilson, at the Police Court this morning. “If I used the language to a policeman I am sorry.” Wilson, a fisherman, aged 43. pleaded not guilty. He was fined £2. Constable Haines said accused had used the language when told to move on. He had had a few drinks, but was not drunk.
