FIRE AT REMUERA

TWO ROOMS AND WASHHOUSE

An attached washhouse _ and two rooms were damaged by fire which broke out at 14 Raumati Road, Remuera, at about noon yesterday, during the absence of the owner and occupier. Mr. C. R. Stanley. The outbreak was first detected by a neighbour, who immediately gave the alarm The Remuera brigade, with the ■>. ace of the Parnell brigade, experienced little difficulty in suppressing the flames.
