MURDER JURY DISAGREES
GANG FIGHT SEQUEL >IN . SYDNEY SEVERAL SHOTS FIRED Reed. 2.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Today. After being locked up all night, the jury disagreed in the case in which Frank Green was charged with the murder of Bernard Dalton at Surry Hills on November 10. Green, was remanded in custody pending the official determination of whether further proceedings would he taken. A fusillade of revolver shots In the underworld at Surry Hills on the night of November 10 resulted in Bernard Dalton, aged 45. an electrician, being shot dead. His companion. Walter Tomlinson, aged 29, a -wharf labourer, was shot in the chest. Edward Brady, aged 29, received a bullet wound in his right hand. Neither Brady nor Tomlinson would give the police any clue to their assailants. They simply stated that a dispute arose over the second League football test match, which was played in England recently. Green was later arrested.
