“SUNNY” SHOWING
SMART HUMOUR AND MUSIC Following- the matinee this afternoon, the successful musical comedy, “Sunny,” will be staged at his Majesty’s Theatre this evening. “Sunny’s” many merits are well known to theatregoers, but tlie present production is possessed of greater interest because of the appearance in a richly-humorous role of the Englisli comedian, Mr. Freddie Forbes. Mr. Forbes was an outstanding entertainer in “Lido Lady” and “Lady Re Good.” In “Sunny” he has a part which affords him the greatest opportunities in fun-making. Enchanting music is, of course, perhaps the greatest attribute of “Sunny.” Added to Mr. Forbes’s comedy and the entrancing tunes are the excellence of a highly efficient ballet, beautifully costumed, and another combination —the Rig Four quartet—which has an important part in the music of the production. “Sunny’s” ensembles, too, are certain to command attention. Throughout the play runs a pronounced vein of clever dialogue.
