Round the Churches
Divine services, morning- and evening, will be conducted at St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, and the preacher at both services will be Canon Pancourt. “Joseph in Prison'* will be the subject treated by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher at the seven o’clock evening service at the Beresford Street Congregational Church. Morning and evening services will be conduucted at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Devonport. The First Church of Christ, Christian Science, will conduct services at the Church Hall, Sy lands Street. “What is God Liye?” will be the topic treated by Canon Grant Cowen at the evening service of St. Matthew’s Church, Wellesley Street. In the morning the preacher will be the Rev. Walter Averill. Morning and evening services will be conducted at both the Edendale Presbyetrian Church, Balmoral Road, and the Somervell Memorial Church, Rem u era. “The Soul that Never Dies” will be the subject of Mr. W. J. Taylor at the evening service of the Christadelphians, Freemasons’ Hall, Belgium Street. The Rev. Rowe and the Rev. Professor H. Ranston will be the respective preachers at the Pitt Street Methodist Church. “The Kingdom that is Being Built” will be the subject chosen by Mr. T. W. Silcock at the seven o’clock evening service at the Auckland Higher Thought Temple. M.orning and evening services will be conducted kV ’ the Grange Road Baptist Church. The Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Grey Lynn, will conduct afternoon and evening services. The speaker at the evening service of the International Bible Students’ Association will be Mr. H. Archer. Morning and evening services will be conducted at the Avondale Methodist Church and the Waterview Methodist Church. The addres at the evening service of the Progressive Church of Spiritualists will be given by Mr. Belz. The Rev. G. T. Marshall will be the preacher at the 11 o'clock morning service of St. John’s Church. Ponsonby.
