ORANGE BLOSSOM AND LILY OF THE VALLEY

BRIDE ATTENDED BY SISTERS SWEET—FARNDON A pretty wedding took place on Alonday evening at St. Albans Church, Dominion Road, when Florence Adeline, eldest daughter of Airs. L. Farndon, of Burnley Terrace, was married to Rudolpt, only son of Air. P. Sweet, of Beresford Street. The Rev. Mr. Greenwood performed tho ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her uncle. All*. R. J. Irvine, “wore a frock of ivory georgette, the skirt of which was made in three uneven tiers and formed an uneven hemline reaching to the ankles at the back. The bodice was inset with a panel of silver lace which continued to the end of the skirt. On the shoulder was a spray of orange blossom and lily of the valley. The veil was caught to the head with a strand of orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet. Aliss June Farndon, sister of the bride, wore a frock of powder blue georgette with pointed skirt draperies and worked sprays of multicoloured flowers. Her headdress was of silver lac© and she carried a bouquet to tone.

Little Amelia Farndon acted as flower-girl wearing a frock of rose pink and apple-green taffeta. She wore a tulle headdress with pink rosebuds and carried a silver basket of pink roses. Air. Louis Farndon iwas best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, who wore a frock of black silk with a black hat to receive her guests.
