LOVELY SHELL-PINK WEDDING FROCK OF GEORGETTE AND LACE
ATTENDANT IN PALE GREEN BUNN—O’REILLY A charming bridal gown of shell pink georgette and lace, with flowing tulle veil in the same dainty shade, was chosen by Elsie Margaret, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. O’Reilly, of Matapuna, Taumarunui, for her marriage to Henry Robert, second son of Mrs. H. Bunn, of Chiselhurst, Eltham, Taranaki. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Brady, and Mr. Edward O’Reilly, of Matapuna, acted as best man. Mr. O'Reilly gave his daughter away, and to complete the ensemble of her dress she wore clusters of orange blossoms in the veil, and carried a bouquet of pale pink heath and asters, with pink streamers. Her bridesmaid was Miss Iris Dowxnan .of Taumarunui, who wore a frock of pale green lace, with hat of green and lemon trimmings. Her bouquet expressed the same colouring. After the service a reception took place at the Arcadia Tea Rooms, where Airs. O’Reilly, wearing a gown of black crepe de chine, with black satin coat, welcomed a large number of guests. The bridegroom’s mother was - *-. na tely prevented from being present. oride’s travelling dress was of blue and lemon crepe de chine, over which was worn a coat of tailored black face-cloth, with fox fur collar and cuffs. She also wore a smart hat of black velour. ENGAGEMENTS The engagement is announced between Mary Joan, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Xorthcroft. of Parnell, and Harold Wilson, eldest son of the late Mr. Albert Upton and Airs. Upton, of Waimai. The engagement is announced of Millicent Melville, younger daughter of Airs, and the late Frank Twiname, of Alma Place, Parnell, to Leslie? Thomas Henry, elder son of Air. and Airs. Thomas S. Alexander, of Beach Road, Ho wick.
