MUSIC ON SUNDAY EVENING | The popular Civic Winter Garden Cal'e is open on Sundays from 5 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. In the evening's, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. a rare musical programme is presented, which includes selections on the Civic Grand Organ by Fred Scholl and specially selected items by the Civic Concert Trio. "When it was announced that “All Quiet on the Western Front” would be filmed with as close conformity to I the book of Erich Maria Remarque as possible, people began to ask why was Joan Marsh in the announced cast. Joan Marsh, who is returning to the screen at the age of 16, is to enact the Poster Girl, to which a very' interesting chapter in the book was devoted.
