I The Wanganui Trotting Club tonight received record entries tor its annual fixture which comes up for decision on April 10 and ihe management is endeavouring to put on an additional attraction in the shape of a match between the champion pacers Padlock and Peter Bingen. An effort is also being made to again secure the services of “Abaydos,” of the Auckland Sun, to give the fixture prominence through the broadcast channel, which proved so ! successful last year. The popularity of the Wanganui meeting with Auckland owners and tiainers is shown by the good entrance list received from the Northern province.
