AUCKLAND’S ANSWER TO APPEAL TOTAL NOW MORE THAN £2,000 Aucklanders have already donated £2,300 11s 7d of their quota of £7,100 in response to the appeal launched by the New Zealand Obstetrical Society for funds to found a chair of obstetrics at the Otago University. It is hoped to collect £25,000 throughout the Dominion and that amount is to be subsidised pound for pound by the Government.
