“FIVE TREASURE-HOUSES OF THE GREAT SNOWS."—Above the clouds that wreath the mountains of Darjeeling, rises the wall of Kinchinjunga, which means “Five Treasure-Houses of the Great Snows.” The highest peak is 28,146 ft high. It is this mountain that the expedition will attempt to climb, probably setting out on April 4.
