From Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Thursday. Six lawns were occupied at the social afternoon of the Rotorua Croquet Club, progressive croquet being played. Mrs. J. Halkett (president) presented the trophies won during the afternoon tea adjournment as follow:—A grade: Mrs. J. J. Hogan, 1: Mrs. Hook, 2. B grade: Airs. Butler, 1; Airs. Heley, 2. ! At the lunch adjournment Rotorua firsts were 104 for eight wickets and Takapuna seconds 233 for eight wickets. The visitors are being billeted with the local boys.
