H. GRAY’S FUTURE
MAY RESIDE IN SYDNEY LEAVING TODAY Leaving by the Ulimaroa today for Sydney is the well-known jockey H. Gray, who was married in Wellington this week to Mrs. Hay, daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. R. Patterson, well-known in the racing world during his time as the owner of that good horse Solution. The family’s present to Gray was the late Mr. Patterson's gold chronometer. Gray’ has received a cable message from W. Booth, one of Sydney’s leading trainers, who lias 28 horses in work, stating that there seems a reasonably good chance of Gray receiving his riding ticket there. Booth has been in communication with Gray for some time and the message was the outcome of the overtures originally made. If Gray is unable to obtain ;i riding licence over there he will return to New Zealand.
