Mr. W. J. Hcldsworth returned from Wellington tod a) Mr. IT It. Jenkins, M.P., arrived by the Limited express this morning. Mr. Thomas O’Brien returned to Auckland from Dunedin by the Limited today. Mr. M. 11. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, returned from the South today. Mr. T. Adams and Airs. Adams, of Ascot Avenue. Remuera, left by the Ultmaroa for an extended trip to Australia. Sir Ja i ingir Kothari, Karachi, India, who is at present visiting Auckland, will sail by the Tofua tomorrow on a visit to the Islands. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Odlin and Mrs. Odlin, of Mount Eden, left by the Ulimaroa today on a nine months’ trip to Great Britain and the Continent. • Mr. M. Dennehy, of the Railway Department, will return to Wellington this evening. He has been in Auckland in connection with the Railway Appeal Board. Mr. J. S. Fletcher, M.P., has returned to Auckland from Eltham, where lie has been spending a holiday. He was accompanied by Mrs. Fletcher. Col. G. Fraser, of Auckland, accompanied by Messrs. N. L. Higginson and F. W. Anderson, of Okoroire, has gone on an extended deer-stalking tour to the Urewera country. #r. H. E. Annett. a prominent farmer of Matangi, near Cambridge, returned from England by the Rangitiki. He was accompanied by his wife and young daughter. The Rev. S. X. Salas, who has been f.ir the past 10 years with the Auckland Hebrew congregation, has accepted a call to the office of minister of the Christchurch Hebrew congregation. Mr. C. P. Hainsworth, general manager of the recent Xorth-East Coast Exhibition at Newcastle, England, arrived from London by the Rangitiki on a visit to New Zealand. He was accompanied by his wife.
