DIRTY CHANNEL WEATHER
AIR LINERS AND SHIPS DELAYED ' SNOWSTORMS IN ENGLAND Reed. Noon. RUGBY, Wednesday. Wintry weather prevails over the greater part of the British Isles. More or less heavy snowfalls are being reported. Owing to a snowstorm in the Channel, air services were dislocated. No i machines left Croydon this morning, ! and two air liners flying from Paris ;to London, finding it impossible to ; get across the Channel, landed near i tl\e French coast early this afternoon. I When the weather cleared a little ! several machines crossed the Channel. ! Shipping was delayed in the ChanI nel and gun signals were fired from j the Admiralty pier at Folkestone to 1 guide passing vessels.
