CROQUET AT HOME

PAPAKURA CLUB ENTERTAINS j The Papakura Croquet Club held a successful At Home on Tuesday afternoon on the lawns. The visitors present were Mesdames Wrigley, Osborne, Coxhead Hawthorne, Brown, Widdowson and Hope. Progressive croquet was played, Mrs. Coxhead and Mrs. R. Hope receiving the A and B prize in the lirst session and Mrs. Wrigley and Mrs. Neild the A and B prize in the second session. The cake, donated by Mrs. J. Bates, was won by Mrs. J Andrews, and the cake donated by the Papakura bakery was won by Mrs. Turner. A Shelley • cup. saucer and plate, given by Mrs. F. Mullins, were won by Mrs. H. McEntee, and the pressed fowl donated bv Mrs. J. Jarvie was won by Mrs. Wrigley.
