ANNUAL MEETING HELD From Our Own Correspondent OTOROHANCA, Today. The president, Mr. H. C. Alexander, look the chair at the annual meeting of the Otorohanga Golf Club, held on Tuesday evening, in the Town Hall The annual report mentioned that membership had increased to such an extent that for the coming season it might be necessary to limit playing members to 50 women and 40 men. The balance-sheet showed a total expenditure of £l7O 11s Sd, and a credit balance in hand of £3 18s Id. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. J. C. Rolleston; president, Mr. S. J. Fortescue; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. C. Alexander and G. H. Fry, Mrs. H. W. Smith and Dr. C. B. Gilberd; secretary, Mr. G. V. Hudson; treasurer, Mr. W Drube; auditor, Mr. Clive Tucker, grounds superintendent, Mr. Noel Smith; captains, Mr. D. Anderson and Miss L. G. Barker; management committee, Misses Hopkirk and Wills and Messrs. A. R. Morley, G. S. Gry and L. Pearce. An official opening day was fixed for Saturday, April 5.
