OTAHUHU HOCKEY CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING HELD Mr. B. McKenzie presided over a large attendance of members and intending members at the annual meetting of the Otahuhu Hockey Club, held in Gardiner’s Tea Rooms on Mondav evening. The balance sheet, which was adopted, showed the finances of the club to be in a very satisfactory condition. The annual report dealt in a comprehensive manner with the activities of the club during the past season. It was decided to make application to the Auckland Hockey Association for permission to enter a team in the senior grade. The question of forniing a women’s team was left in the hands of Mr. Fallwell, to report to the next general meeting. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. W. Gardiner, the retiring secretary, for the splendid services he rendered to the club during his term of office. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr. H. T. Clements; president, Mr. T. Howard; vice-presi-dents, Rev. A. M. Ell iff e, Messrs. S. Jenkins. W. Morton, B. Jenkins, Linlchorn. D. Jones, C. P. Downey, F. If. Wade, A. Trenwith, S. Ellis, G. Neild; secretary, Mr. A. Nield; club captain, Mr. B. McKenzie; delegate to the Auckland Hockey Association, Mr. P. Jenkins.
