CITY OF NEW YORK TO SAIL WITHOUT HIM SHIP'S MASTER HONOURED Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. Rear-Admiral Byrd will not sail with the City of New York on Sunday. His route will be announced tomorrow. Last evening the Nejv Zealand Company of Master Mariners honoured Captain Melville, master of the City of New York, by conferring on him the distinction of life membership of the company. He is the first foreign seaman to be so honoured. Members were present from Wellington and other parts of the Dominion.
