BRITISH ARMY’S WAR TIME RECORD MURDERER IN RANKS Eec<3. 1.45 p.m. LONDON, Tues. In the House of Commons Mr. Tom Shaw, Secretary for War, informed Mr. L. W. Matters (Labour) that 264 soldiers were shot during the war time for desertion, 18 for cowardice. Two officers were shot for desertion, one for murder and desertion and none for cowardice.
