CAR TURNS SOMERSAULT

DRIVER’S NARROW ESCAPE Yesterday afternoon a seven-seater motor-car driven by Mr. J. W. Brierly, agent for a Southern biscuit firm, skidded on the loose gravel on the Lake Road, Northcote, and turned a complete somersault. Mr. Brierly escaped with leg bruises, and the car, with its roof, windscreens and mudguards damaged, was eventually righted with the assistance of passers-by and driven off under its own power.
