BETTER HOME MOVEMENT
The winning design in a recent “Better Home” competition run on national lines in Michigan, U.S.A. The architect was Mr. Rhees E. Burket, of Detroit. “The Building Age," in publishing the designs, describes the home as an admirable illustration of the importance of minor details. Planned efficiently and harmoniously, its beauty is emphasised by such features as the dormer windows, chimney-pots and doorway. The architect suggests a roof of blue, green and brown slate.
