MUNICIPAL CONCERT
: I The next concert by the Municipal I Band trill be given in the Town Hall on Saturday next. March 22, at eight o'clock. Entirely new numbers to be played are the overture “Phedre” (Massenet), two favourite pieces by Handel, air from “Rinaldo” and the minuet from “Samson”; Marche Indienne (Selleniek), “Serenade D’Amour” (Franz von Blon), “The Parade of the I Tin Soldiers” (Jessel), and “Robert j Bruce,” a grand selection on Scottish | melodies- The delightful suite, “In a Rovers’ Garden,” will by request be reI peated. I Special instrumental solos will be played by Mr. McLennan, llute, and Mr." Havies. cornet. Air. Wilfrid Scott, baritone, will be the vocalist, with Mrs. j Scott at the piano. Altogether a ! highly interesting programme. Booking arrangements are adver- : tised.
