ROXY
“PEACOCK ALLEY’’ Mae Murray, who is well known to Auckland audiences for her work in a number of successful productions, including “The Merry Widow,” has the leading role in “Peacock Alley,” which commences a season at the Roxy Theatre today. The story deals with society life in America, a feature of interest being the introduction of special colour effects. Vocal and dance numbers have been cleverly interwoven into the story. Good supporting features will also be shown.
