OLDEST CIVIL SERVANT. —Mr. W. A. Boers, of Havelock, Marlborough, who claims to be the oldest civil servant in New Zealand, celebrated his 95th birthday on St. Patrick’s Day. He came to New Zealand from Rotterdam 62 years ago and held the position of postmaster when he retired.
