VICTORIA, DEVONPORT
“Jazz Mad,” the new film to be shown at the Victoria Theatre, Dovonport, from this evening, is a puthetii and engrossing story of an old German orchestra conductor who goes to America to work, but cannot secure &ii opening for his fine pieces in the whirl of jazz. Eventually he becomes conductor of a huge orchestra in Los Angeles. Jean Hersholt is the star. A numbur of supporting films )vi ' also be screened.
