The market is slow, with retail prices unchanged. Cheese New Zealand: White, 83s to Sss (S3s to 84s): cploured. 85s to 86s (S3s to 84s). Deliveries New Zealand this week, 29,500 crates; in store, 90,380 crates. Australian: White and coloured, S3s (S2s). Canadian: White, 96s to 100 s (94s to 98s); coloured, 96s to 9Ss (94s to 98s). MERCHANTS’ REPORTS Merchants report receipt of -overseas cables as follow: Amalgamated Dairies, Limited, from its London office:—“Butter: Market weaker under strong bear movement; Anchor price unchanged at 1445; other finest grade for immediate delivery, 141 s, next week 140 s; Danish 158 s on spot. 152 s f.0.b.: deliveries of New Zealand 1.498 tons, stock 6.646 tons; retails unchanged. Cheese: Prices unchanged but quiet at an advance (white S4s, coloured Sss); Canadian unchanged, nominal: retail unchanged.” Leonard and Son. Limited, from their London principal, A. C. Rawson. under date March 14:-—"Cheese: New Zealand white 84s, coloured 85s. demand moderate, market steady and indications are that will not change much for the present. Butter: New Zealand first 1395. finest 143 s, demand fa3ling off. market again dull—think market will go lower unless improved demand.”
