TWO GIRLS INJURED
STRUCK BY MOTOR-CARS Knocked down by a motor-car at the intersection of Manukau Road and King Edward Avenue, Epsom, late on Saturday afternoon. Miss L. Hendry, aged 18, who lives at Windmill Road. Mount Eden, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from injuries and shock. Miss Hendry was able to return to her home yesterday. Catherine Jarvis aged six years, was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning suffering from a fracture of the arm and abrasions, which she received through being struck by a motor-car while crossing Great North Road, at the corner of Williamson Avenue at 11.40 a.m. Her condition this morning is net serious.
