“THE COCK-EYED WORLD” ‘ The Cock-Eyed World, the amusing talkie sequel to “What Price Glory,” which proved one of the most popular films of the year, is continuing its successful season at the Plaza Theatre. The authors of the story were Laurence Stallings and Maxwell Anderson, who also wrote “What Price Glory,” while the principal players, Victor McLaglen and Edmund Lowe, appeared with success in the previous production. The pair are shown as Sergeant Flagg and Sergeant Quirt respectively, the theme relating to their efforts to outwit each other in matters of love. The principal feminine roles are played by Lily Damita and Jean Barry, several other well-known players appearing in prominent parts. Excellent supporting films are presented in addition to the main feature.
