MEETING AT OTAHUHU MISS WESTON S SUCCESS Keen interest was taken by the large attendance of spectato-s at the second annual meeting of the Otahuhu Sports Association held or the Otahuhu Trotting Club’s course on Saturday afternoon. afternoon, both by the riders anti their mounts, were of a very high order. nobody received injuries of any serious nature. The honours of the day went to Miss Phyl Weston, a popular follower of the hounds, with tho Baku rang a Hunt, whose splendid hunt-. . Bluelight won the coveted trophy Jo. the champion hunter, and gained second place in the cleverest hunter class. In the best women's hunter class, M:.-s Weston filled first place on Bltieligh*. and second place on Mr. A. Walker's Miss Flirt. For the best mediumweight hunter. Bluelight was awarded third honours, and in the best women rider’s class, Miss Weston was placed second. Miss Fna Bennett rode well during the meeting, winning the best girl rider under 16. and the best women rider classes, and her hunter filled third place in tho best women’s hunter class. The trophy for the cleverest hunter on tho ground was keenly contested and was awarded to Mr. Chris Allen's Salvaboy, which gave a faultless exhibition. The judging was carried out by Mr. 31. S. Hurst. The inscribed championship ribands which were donated b Miss Spicer, were presented to the successful competitors by Mrs. Neilson. Details are; Child’s Pony, under 12.2.
